809 Madison Headwaters trout – The Madison River is probably Montana’s most famous fly-fishing trout destination. On this episode we are guests at the FIREHOLE RANCH near West Yellowstone Montana. Our guide Mickey Wooten takes us on an unforgettable trek on one of the channels that connect the river with its headwater lakes. This produces among other fine trout a six pound, 21 inch brown trout that explodes out from under an over-hanging bank to devour a grass hopper fly and take us on a wild run up and down the channel.
