A fly-in lodge is the base to fish for chinook salmon on the Karluk River. In early July this vibrant river is still packed with spring-run chinook salmon. Our good friend Ken Smith utilizes a spinning rod with eggs while Carl pulls out the fly-rod for some explosive chinook action. We are guests of Brad Aga, Uyak Bay Lodge, Larsen Bay, Kodiak Island, Alaska.
